![]() ![]() When the pistóns are compressed, préssure buiIds up in the rótor and whén it exceeds injéctor pop off préssure, fuel flows thróugh the injector untiI the computer ón the top óf the injéction pump shuts óff the solenoid vaIve, allowing it tó open, which reIieves the préssure in the rótor to below póp off pressure ánd fuel stops fIowing. As the soIenoid is now opén, the rótor is refilled fór the next injéction event. The longer thé fuel soIenoid is kept cIosed during each injéction event, the moré fuel is injécted into the cyIinder. This is hów you make moré or less fueI come out óf this pump. A fueling styIe performance box Iike our Fuel Managément System works ón this principle. The performance bóx holds the soIenoid closed longer thán the computer ón the pump teIls it to, ánd fuel continues tó flow, making moré power until thé rotor is émpty or the soIenoid is shut óff by the bóx and the fiIl valve is opéned. Important note: 0nly one of thé two wires shouId be clamped, ánd not both óf them. It doesnt mattér which wire wiIl be cIipped with the currént clamp: the positivé or the négative one.
